Case: Excellent condition case with thick lugs. Minor wear over the years, but no major dings or scratches. Caseback is very nice and the issue number "390" is still visible. The inside of the caseback has the full s/n of the watch printed on it.

Dial: The original Comex dial may have been changed out at a prior service, resulting in a "Pre-Comex" dial being installed. Dial is mint and tritium luminous, with matching tritium hands.

Bracelet: Original oyster 91350 bracelet in excellent condition. 12 links, little to moderate stretch.

Notes: The 5514 is a unique reference designed for Comex. It was never a civilian issued watch. The gas escape valve on the case is similar to that of the Sea-Dwellers. Because of the unique reference numbers, many collectors consider the 5514 a must have for any collection. This particular example is priced very affordably due to the dial, but it is 100% comex and even retains its original issue number on the caseback.
