Ref. 1016: Nice full set example of an early matte-dial 1016 Explorer. Complete with punched guarantee papers, timing certificate, Explorer I box topper, as well as an old service invoice. Watch has been recently detailed and serviced.

CASE

Recently detailed, case is crisp and has sharp edges and no apparent wear. Bezel is flat and smooth, not over polished. Numbers are clear and visible on both sides of the case.

DIAL

Original matte dial in excellent condition. Luminous has a few small age spots as shown in pictures, but dial is clean and free from scratches or marks. Original tropic 22 domed crystal.

BRACELET

Comes on a 10 link 7206 Swiss rivet bracelet dated 4/68. The band is in very good condition with light to moderate stretch, and the top end piece is slightly floppy in its fitment.
