6298: An important historical Explorer, one of the earliest ones named as such. This ref. is more commonly found with a similar dial but no Explorer designation.

CASE

Case is in excellent original condition. Featuring lugs that are full and not over polished. Serial and ref numbers are clear and perfect between the lugs. The case back still bears the inscription "MODELE DEPOSE REGISTERED ROLEX DESIGN STAINLESS STEEL" along the rim.

DIAL

Original dial in very good condition. Small surface abrasions and scratches, and luminous markers that are aged and missing. Text is sharp and clear, and the watch presents an overall beautiful original look.

BRACELET

Comes on a vintage style leather strap with Rolex buckle.
