Ref. 6205: A timecapsule! What a beautiful 1950's Submariner that ticks all the boxes. Original gilt hands, correct no marker bezel insert and a dial that does not bear the words "Submariner" on it, as it was likely produced during the period when Rolex was registering the trademark. The watch features nice factory bevels and a gorgeous overall look. The tropic was heavily damaged so we've replaced it with a NOS domed original one.

CASE

Case still has original edges. Albeit a little soft, the factory edges and even brushed sides can still be seen. Original brevet crown and no minute marker bezel are still present.

DIAL

Original dial in very good condition. There is age spotting, but in person the brightness of the gilt printing and the still glossy surface of the dial make this watch look really great. The original long mercedes hands and luminous dot-tip seconds hands are in excellent shape with original luminous material intact.

BRACELET

Comes on a vintage style calf strap.
