Ref. 1680: Not overly fancy, the date Submariner is perhaps the most recognizable of all Rolex models. A simple and timeless classic, this particular example features a beautiful dial with little patina, and matching equally white colored tritium hands. Watch comes with old service papers from Rolex Japan.

CASE

Case is in excellent condition. Lugs have been previously polished so that there is no longer a chamfered edge, but they are very thick and straight, and can be detailed easily if desired. Numbers between the lugs are clean and easily readable.

DIAL

Tritium matte dial is in excellent condition and free from any marks or scratches. The original tritium hands match the dial in tone and do not glow. Bezel insert has faded to a slight blue/grey, and still has the original pearl intact. There are a couple of nicks and dings along the bezel insert which can bee seen in the photographs.

BRACELET

Comes on an original 91350 oyster flip lock band with a VB date code. It has 11 links and has little to no stretch.
