Ref. 1019: An oddball in the Rolex lineup, the Milgauss was produced since the 1950's in three main iterations. The 1019 was in the catalog from the early-mid 1960s, until around 1990. A real tool watch, it had no practical use for anyone that was not a scientist hence is relative rarity. This particular example was purchased from Bucherer and has its original sales invoice and papers. Unfortunately, most watches sold by Bucherer feature papers that are hand written and not punched, but we guarantee the authenticity of this full set.

CASE

Watch case is in excellent condition featuring nice thick lugs. There is no chamfer visible on the case anymore, but if so desired can be polished to perfection. Numbers between lugs are clean and visible. Caseback has the correct and complete inner assembly with a metal cross and an iron movement cover.

DIAL

Original silver dial and hands. Dial is in excellent condition, but there is minor corrosion along the edge of the dial. It can be clearly seen in the pictures. Note: It's quite uncommon to find a Milgauss with original dial as most for some reason seem to have later replacement dials and "frosted" hands.

BRACELET

Comes on a 78360 solid link oyster band with light to moderate stretch. There is slight notching on a few of the links. 12 links total with 580 endpieces.
