Ref. 6238: A dressier predecessor to the Daytona, the 6238 was produced by Rolex as their flagship chronograph for a few years in the early 1960s. This particular example is an honest one owner example that we recently acquired. While not perfect, it has a lot of charisma and is priced very reasonably. It's also been recently overhauled by our watchmaker.
Case has some wear and scratches, but is very thick and sharp in all the right places. (Look at the bezel!) No major dings but lots of light superficial wear.
Dial is in very good to excellent condition with some light spotting along the edge. Luminous dots are creamy in color and match the luminous inserts in the hands.
Comes on a cordovan leather strap in a dark brown color.
