6240: The 6240 is truly what I would call a "Transitional" Daytona. Produced in the 1960’s, it was the bridge model between the pump pusher Daytonas and screwdown ones. Unique charachteristics of early 6240s include the "Non-Oyster" dial, as well as slimmer case compared to later 6263s and 6265s. The twinlock crown was also introduced in its larger form on this model. This is an excellent example of what is considered to be the rarest and most unique reference of Daytona out there.
