Rolex Daytona "2002 Winner 24 HRs Daytona" Box and Papers

Ref. 116520: Winner!!!! Everyone loves to win, especially when the price is a special Rolex Daytona. Given to one of the winners of the 2002 24 Hours of Daytona, this watch is notable as its possibly the first year that the Rolex movement 116520 was used as a prize, replacing the venerable Zenith movement based 16520. This watch also has a dial that is turning slightly cream color, a trait found in some early 116520s. With the special provenance, this watch really is something special. Comes with original papers from "ROLEX USA", and various booklets.

CASE

Thick lugs showing light wear. Watch has minimal scuffing or scratches.

DIAL

White dial has turned a light and even cream color. It is in excellent condition showing no scratches.

BRACELET

Comes on a solid oyster flip band with 12 links. There is some wear, namely on the polished center links. There is no stretch.
