Ref. 1016: A nice example of a gilt 1016 featuring a rich glossy dial and thick case. Not perfect, but charming with its flaws.

CASE

Case is in excellent condition featuring a sharp bezel and nice thick lugs. Numbers between lugs are nice and clean, and there is no major damage anywhere to note.

DIAL

Original gilt dial in very good to excellent condition. There are a few spots and imperfections on the dial, but they are very minor. No hand drag is visible, and the surface is very glossy. Luminous is somewhat imperfect as shown, with a few dark spots. Hand lume is dark and discolored, with a crack in the seconds hand.

BRACELET

The watch comes on a genuine Rolex band, albeit assembled from different eras. 11 swiss rivet links, with 358 end pieces, and a clasp from a jubilee band. its wearable and shows little stretch.
