6610: This is a very rare and unusual example of a 6610. Seldom seen, the red depth rating makes for quite a conversation piece. What makes this watch unique is that it comes with its original guarantee certificate, timing certificate, and box. The serial numbers on the case and s/n both match the paperwork as they should. It is unknown why only a small batch of these watches came with a red depth rating, but the red certainly adds to the desirability of this already rare Explorer.
Excellent condition with no major dings or scratches. No corrosion on case. Serial and ref. numbers are clear and visible.
Original dial is in excellent condition, showing light signs of aging. Luminous is original, as is the red depth rating on the dial.
Comes on a leather strap with original Rolex buckle.
