1016: Now this is what I call "Transitional". The fact that the "T<25" was subsequently added on both sides of "SWISS" lead us to believe that this was produced at the time that tritium was replacing radium on the dials, and also at the time where there were new laws regarding the labeling of dials with tritium present in them. You can see the perfect finish on the dial with recessed luminous and matching hands. A truly lovely 1016 to add to any collection.
Excellent condition. Nice full lugs and immaculate case.
Gorgeous drop deal dial. Perfectly glossy and gilt. Rare "SWISS" signed, with T<25 printed by Rolex after production.
Comes on a calf strap with original Rolex buckle.
