1655: A beautiful orange hand Explorer that has just been serviced by my watchmaker. It is a great example of the earliest 1655s. Due to the difficulty of seeing the seconds hand in the dark, subsequent examples were fitted with luminous seconds hands. This has since made these early examples especially sought after and hard to find.

CASE

Excellent condition, no major scratches or dings.

DIAL

Original tritium matte dial in near perfect condition. Light signs of aging on luminous. Dial and hand luminous all match. Bezel is nice and clean, showing light wear.

BRACELET

A modern 78360 oyster bracelet is included. Minimal stretch, and has 12 links.
