1655: Early 1655 Explorer IIs were fitted with straight seconds hands which were not visible in the dark. To correct this oversight, Rolex replaced the straight seconds hand with a more traditional luminous hand which remained with the model throughout its production period.

CASE

Excellent condition case with thick lugs. Original bezel with some surface scratches and wear. Numbers are well defined and fully visible.

DIAL

Original MK1 dial in overall excellent condition with slight wear and a small blemish on the edge luminous at 27 past. Original tritium hands with rare "Straight Seconds" in excellent shape.

BRACELET

Solid link 78360 bracelet in excellent condition with minimal stretch and 12 links.
