6542: What an interesting watch. This was purchased from the original owner, and comes with a letter from him, documenting the colorful history of this watch. The watch also comes with a bevy of paperwork from Rolex, documenting the replacement of the case in the early 1980s. I doubt you will ever see a 6542 with such a late serial number. Possibly a unique watch. You are getting one complete watch, along with another case, caseback and bezel. (Original one) One thing is for certain, Rolex is no longer doing "Special Favors" such as this for its customers!

Excellent condition, no major scratches or dings. Unpolished, like new.

DIAL

Replacement tritium dial and steel bezel in excellent condition. Hands are later replacements, but are tritium and do not glow.

BRACELET

Original Rolex rivet bracelet in excellent condition, 12 links.
