Ref. 6234: Wow! What a beautiful chronograph. The early Rolex oyster chronographs are perhaps some of the most under appreciated watches in the lineup. This particular example has a beautiful cream/grey colored dial and blue telemeter track. The watch exhibits a beautiful and warm look, and is perfect with a suit or with jeans.

CASE

Watch has a beautiful case with thick lugs and a razor sharp bezel. Original pushers and domed crystal. Numbers between lugs are fully visible to the naked eye.

DIAL

The dial is in excellent condition with perfect lume plots that match the hands. there is some slight discoloration evident in the edges of the subdials. They are not damage, but oxidation caused by the exposed metal edge of the subdials. There is no rust, etc, just a change in color. The rest of the dial surface is unmarred and beautiful.

BRACELET

Comes on a 19mm oyster rivet band, with a clasp date code of 3/58. There are 12 links, and the band has very minimal stretch.
