Ref. 6429: The Commando has developed a mythical status amongst Rolex aficionados. At one time the cheapest watch in the catalog, it was sold exclusively at Military PXs around the world and oddly at Abercrombie & Fitch. A simple manual wind watch, the Commando evokes images of soldiers in Vietnam with this simple but reliable watch strapped to their wrist.
