5512: Perhaps one of the most coveted Submariners around, the early 5512s came with several small variations in dial, ranging from 2 to 4 lines of print. This exemplary example features a dial that is simply gorgeous and in an uncommonly nice condition.
Case is in excellent condition with fat lugs that have a nice wide factory bevel. Superficial marks consistent with careful use over its 50 year life. Serial and ref. numbers are both clear and visible.
A stunning gilt 2 line exclamation dial in mint condition. No surface marks or scrapes, and nicely patinated luminous material. Shinny and glossy, just how we like em! A faded insert with tritium pearl compliment the dial.
Comes on a mint condition swiss rivet band with 13 links. The band is mint with little to no stretch, and has a date code of 1961. The endpieces have been replaced with contemporary 382 ones, but the look outwardly identical to the earlier ones and they fit perfectly.
