6538: The big crown model Submariners have had a cult following, since their central role in various early James Bond movies. This is a very nice example, which would make a good addition to any Sub collection. Watch was recently serviced, and keeps excellent time. Watch was previously serviced exclusively at Rolex NYC, with several watchmakers marks inside the caseback.

CASE

Excellent original condition. Only minor wear consistent with age.

DIAL

Original gilt "SWISS" signed 2 line dial. There is light crazing on the dial, but it is very glosy and has a lot of eye appeal. The depth rating is in silver, whilst the rest of the printing is done in gilt. Hands are gilt and have the "Big Bubble" seconds hand. Luminous may have been re-applied by Rolex during a previous service, but it shows aging and looks very sharp. Bezel and insert are original Rolex.

BRACELET

Comes on a leather strap with Rolex buckle.
