Ref. 5513: Gilt goodness! Another stunner! A great and charming example of a 5513 gilt "Bart Simpson" dial. A great example both to wear and to collect.

CASE

Recently detailed case is in excellent condition. Sharp thick lugs, strong chamfers and free from any scratches or dings. Serial and ref. numbers are strong and clean. Original twinlock crown.

DIAL

Original "Bart Simpson" dial in excellent shape. There is a bit of even mottling of the gilt surface. It is difficult to photograph and shows up like very tiny spots evenly distributed along the surface of the dial. It is exceptionally clean and has no crazing. Original luminous on dial and matching lume color on hands. They still glow, as do all the later gilt dials.

BRACELET

Comes on an original USA rivet bracelet dated 68. Recently polished, the bracelet has eleven links and has little to no stretch.
