Ref. 5512: When's the last time you've seen a nice 5512 with original guarantee papers? Produced in much smaller quantities than its sibling the 5513, the 5512 was the chronometer version of Rolex's non-date Submariner. Identical except for the four line dial and chronometer rated movement, the higher cost made it the less popular version. Complete with original inner and outer boxes, punched guarantee papers, as well as various service documentation. Recently polished and serviced, the watch is keeping good time.
Recently polished case in excellent condition. No dings visible, and sharp chamfers on all the lugs. The triplock crown does have some dents as seen in the picture. It screws down tight and watch is waterproof. The original bezel is slightly faded with a couple small scratches as shown.
Dial is in excellent condition with perfect lume and no visible damage on the surface. Original tritium hands on the dial and hands, and matching pearl in the bezel insert.
Watch comes on a 12 link 91350 oyster fliplock band with 580 end pieces. It has little to no stretch and is in excellent condition.
