Ref. 5508: Here's is a beautiful 5508 that checks all the boxes- original red triangle insert, gilt dial, gilt hands, you name it. Recently overhauled, this sub is ready to be enjoyed. A great example you'll seldom see.

CASE

Case has been recently detailed and exhibits razor sharp edges with a well defined and crisp bevel. The sides of the case have been finished with a matte or brushed appearance. Original red triangle insert has some slight wear, but is visually beautiful.

DIAL

Original gilt dial is turning brown in some spots as shown, and there is crazing on the surface of the dial. A few of the more serious crazing spots can be seen along the edge of the dial, and there is some very slight wear in the middle of the dial, possibly indicative of hands previously touching the dial.. Dial is generally still very glossy. Overall very good condition. Original matching hands have a luminous that is matching the tone of dial lume lots.

BRACELET

Comes on an original vintage style calf strap.
