Rolex Tudor Submariner Ref. 7928 "Gilt Chapter Ring Pointed Guard"

Ref. 7928: Boom! We haven't had a really nice example of a Tudor 7928 in quite some time, but we're really please to be able to officer this specimen. Made in 1960, this is one of the earliest PCG 7928s that we've seen. For the Tudor or Submariner aficionado, this one is a can't miss!

CASE

Case is worn with a multitude of scratches and small dings. It is however very original and thick, and retains much of the original wide chamfered lugs. Numbers between the lugs are very clean and crisp. The caseback is stamped 1960, and the exterior of it features a small and light personalization that can easily be removed if desired. Original twinlock crown.

DIAL

Dial is in excellent condition and features nicely aged luminous plots. There are no marks or scratches visible on the dial, and you can make out a tritium exclamation dot above the "SWISS". The seconds hand appears to be slightly lighter than the rest of the hands/lume plots, but the difference is very minor. Original domed crystal has some scratches and small dings, but can be changed easily if desired.

BRACELET

Comes on a vintage style 10 Past Ten calf strap.
