6202: Yet another variation of the 6202 T-O-G dial. Aside from the standard dial, the OCC dial, and the honeycomb dial, this is yet another variant to toss into the mix. Perhaps the number of dial variants was due to the fact that this was a new Rolex model and represented perhaps one of their first sports watches with a rotating bezel.
Nice minimally polished case in excellent condition. Serial and reference numbers are clearly visible between the lugs.
Original radium dial has aged with a heavy patina. Dial is marked with a 50m = 165ft designation, something rarely found on these watches. hands are original and partially skeletonized. Comes with original but heavily aged bezel insert.
Comes on a calf strap with original Rolex buckle.
